The Arkki Explorers weekly programme Season 3 continues... If your child has joined us in our Part 1 and/or 2 series, welcome back and new projects await!

If you are new to Arkki, our weekly Explorers programme is a starter course for 7-9 year old children that introduces the foundational elements of architecture and the process of creative and critical thinking. Come join us!

Date:: Every Sunday, starting 26-February 2023. (Feb > 26th / Mar > 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th / Apr > 2nd, 9th, 16th)
Time:: 10am - 12pm
Length of Course:: 8 weeks
Course fee:: S$520 nett for 8 weekly classes.

The award-winning Arkki programme is the only one in Singapore (& Asia) that offers an extensive, long-term curriculum based on architecture and design for children and youth ages 7-19. Our curriculum offers 30 modules for progressive learning, each carefully designed for the age group it caters for.

The hands-on, project-based curriculum are carefully designed to equip the children and youth with 21st century skills: creativity, complex problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and resilience.

The course is also designed for pupils to gain a stronger grasp of STEAM, History, Geography and Social Science subjects through a series of super fun and educational projects that connect with real life challenges (e.g. natural shelter model building, labyrinth game design, ancient archway model making..).

Through ideating, planning and finally translating their ideas into 3D models and designs – the pupils will jumpstart their imagination and prove their assumptions by experimenting and testing their ideas, no matter how unusual they may sound.

The pupils will acquire better sensing of their surroundings from colors, shapes to structures and space. Critical thinking skills develop here as the pupils review alternative theories and find different perspectives to problems. The pupils are guided to observe the surroundings and use different senses.

Exciting projects await! Students will bring their models home after each project.
