When harmonies unite, dreams take flight at Singapore Lyric Opera’s (SLO) annual Chorus in Concert.

Chorus in Concert shines a spotlight on the SLO Adult Chorus, which has supported us in many opera productions over the years. Now, they step into the limelight to perform a curated selection of arias and ensemble numbers, showcasing their individual and collective artistry. The twist? The repertoire was assembled by the chorus themselves–from Puccini’s soaring harmonies to Mozart’s breathless melodies, this concert is composed of our very own chorus members’ dream roles and musical holy grails.
Conducted by SLO’s Chorus Master, Terrence Toh, each piece was chosen to highlight the diverse talents and deep dedication of the performers. In keeping with our mission to make western opera accessible to all, Chorus in Concert shows that anyone can embody their dream roles, even for a night, so long as you have passion and persistence.
