Celebrate national identity and eco-conscious design with Singapore’s largest mechanical Fortune Merlion, a magnificent 2.8 metre tall interactive sculpture.
Inspired by the classic monument situated at the mouth of the once-polluted Singapore River, this public artwork serves as a testament to the nation’s remarkable environmental transformation into a clean Garden City. 50 percent of this fiberglass composite is made with recycled PET bottle flakes, replacing a significant amount of virgin resin.
The installation by UNIPLAY features animated movements in both its arm and head, standing as a colourful symbol of joy, creativity, and sustainability, reminding visitors that good fortune flourishes when we care for the world.
