The Journey Man Shakespeare is an exciting and empowering programme that was developed in UK by storyteller and drama practitioner, Johnny Gillett!
Known by GESS for his work since 2012 with the annual Grade 8 Drama Project). Now it is landing in Singapore with a three day pilot called, "Shakespeare in Space!"
Your child will
- Enjoy fun games and innovative drama activities to get to know the stories and the characters of three Shakespeare plays
- Re-shape the plays to fit a sci-fi setting, developing their own dialogue alongside some Shakespeare quotes
- Design their own scenery, props and costumes
- Present with other children their own 30 minute performance to family and friends
