Over a fun afternoon at the cosy reDPan Cafe, they will teach you skills on using versatile and easy PITT Artist Pens for Brush Lettering.
You’ll be guided step-by-step on how to create basic letterforms and the minuscule alphabet, and learn about ligatures and how they change a calligrapher’s style. They’ll also be teaching you how to use Gelatos to create an ombre watercolour wash, the perfect backdrop for your lettering!
The Instructress
Melody is a lettering artist who specialises in brush pen and chalk calligraphy. Her style is minimalist yet playful, and she is partial to white ink. Her favourite nib is the Brause EF66. She has lettered and designed mostly for weddings and the occasional art piece, as well as corporate clients like SK-II and the Senso Group. She also loves to teach, and has five years of teaching experience under her belt.
