As a city that blends world cultures, Hong Kong does seem to have its own definitions of what is ”boundary” and what is ”time”.
This performance exemplifies a breakthrough on both counts, fully demonstrating the creative charm of young music makers. Two young Hong Kong musicians, Cy Leo Ho Cheuk Yin (harmonica) and Chan Pik Sum (erhu) will make their manifesto not only by performing together as an unprecedented erhu-harmonica duo, but also by collaborating with their musician friends on stage. This performance promises to be a fascinating potpourri of sounds from East and West, then and now!
