What extra steps do your kids need to take to prepare their stories for publication? How can stories help them to express their views and ideas? With authors Anittha Thanabalan and Yeoh Jo-Ann as their guides, your kids can create short stories that will be published on our microsite after the Festival!

Some things your kid will learn:

  • A roadmap they can use again and again to write stories, generating ideas, different ways to plan a story (and what works best for them), structural and copy editing.

Ever wondered what an author actually does? Let your kids get a secret insider’s look with award-winning children’s author Nat Amoore! Through her experiences from growing her podcast and YouTube channel to writing about cow poo, your kids will discover the many shapes an author can take and learn to grow their ideas into a book.
