Bollywood Veggies celebrates diversity in June!

Rainbow Farm Day invites all LGBT+ families and their allies to Bollywood Veggies for a fun day out on a planet-friendly farm in the Kranji Countryside! Bring your friends and family out for nature and farm-based activities, great farm to table food, and some artisanal shopping at the Rainbow Farmers’ Market!

Rainbow Farm Tour (45 minutes) – 10am, 11am, 2pm and 3pm

Children 6 and below go free

The Rainbow Farm Tour is a sustainability themed guided tour that will bring participants around our 10-acre organic farm and introduce the stunning agricultural biodiversity. We will focus on vegetable and plants of many different colours, and participants get to touch, smell and taste as they go along! Immersive, sensory and fun! Kids welcome and those 6 and below go free with paying adults.

Paddy planting (30 minutes) - 10.45am, 11.45am

Parents can accompany children for free

Planting real paddies in a real paddy field, be prepared to get dirty, don't worry we have a hose to wash you down

Recycled Rainbow Bento Sprouting (30 minutes) - 12pm and 2pm

Plant a combination of seeds/cuttings of colourful edible plants and take the bento home

Eating the Rainbow Health Workshops (45 minutes) - 12.30pm and 1.30pm

Children 6 and below go free

Join our in-house health consultants in an enriching health workshop that will teach you how to use food as medicine to keep your youth and vitality. Of course, the workshop includes food and tea tasting of very colourful and life-giving foods!

Rainbow Terrarium Making (45 minutes) - 11am, 1pm and 3pm

Join a hands-on terrarium making workshop that will teach you how to build and maintain your very own glass garden bursting with rainbow colours! All materials and instruction will be provided. Held in a sheltered area.

After expending energy on our rainbow farm activities, have a delicious farm to table meal at Poison Ivy Bistro and shop at our Rainbow Farmers’ Market!
