Challenge your little ones to an exciting kampung cook-off in the Kranji Countryside!

Kids will go on a chef's walkabout around the food forest, harvest fresh veggies and work in teams to create their own farm-to-table meal.

The outdoor cooking class is all about trying new things and getting hands dirty. School’s out - time to unplug and explore!

The class includes light snacks and drinks.

What is the age requirement to participate in the event?
- The class is open to all kids aged 7 to 12 years old.

Can I be with my child during the activities?
- The point of the class is to get kids to learn how to be confident and independent and to foster leadership and team working skills, so as much as possible let's give your child an opportunity to gain a healthy sense of self-direction.

Can I wait for my child while s/he is at the class?
- Of course. Bring a nice book to read and chill out at the bistro. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is nearby if you're feeling adventurous.

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?
- From Kranji MRT take the Kranji Countryside Express bus (round trip $3/adult, $1/child or senior citizen) The full bus schedule can be found here. You do not recommend taking public transport as the bus stop is a long walk away.

What should my child bring?
- Hat, insect repellent, water bottle, covered shoes, small towel, and sunblock. All materials required for the activities will be provided.
