Children's Day Workshops with Act 3 International

Give your child the gift of practical communication skills and joyful play.

3 hours of fun, drama, and storytelling that spark imagination and build confident communicators. Children have limitless imagination. At The Story Factory, they bring their ideas to life by inventing characters, acting out scenes, and sharing their stories. While it feels like play, every activity is designed to strengthen their ability to listen, speak clearly, and express themselves with confidence.

Why The Story Factory Works

  • Imagination fuels creativity while building real-world speaking skills
  • Storytelling teaches children to organise ideas with a beginning, middle, and end
  • Pair and group activities sharpen listening and turn taking
  • Performing gives every child the chance to be heard and understood

Little Voices, Big Steps

  • Ages 3 to 5

At this stage imagination and play are the gateways to learning. Children sing, move, and act out characters in simple stories.

  • Express feelings through voice and movement
  •  Join in playful group storytelling
  • Grow more confident in speaking and sharing

Parent Showcase:
Parents are invited to join for the final 15 minutes. Children come together for a short group story with actions and repeated lines, showing how they are learning to use their voices with joy and confidence.
Outcome:
Your child leaves joyful, expressive, and more willing to use their voice.

Speaking Up Together

  • Ages 6 to 8

Children use their imagination to create stories with partners and small groups. Drama games keep the energy high while guiding them to communicate clearly.

  • Improv games sharpen focus and quick responses
  • Pairs build mini stories and practise short lines
  •  Group sharing develops projection and audience awareness

Parent Showcase:
Parents are invited to join for the final 20 minutes. Children present  short scenes, giving them the chance to speak clearly to an audience. Parents see teamwork, listening, and growing confidence in communication.
Outcome:
Your child leaves speaking with more clarity, listening with more focus, and collaborating with confidence.

From Improv to Presentation

  • Ages 9 to 12

Older children use imagination to create bold ideas, then transform them into short solo presentations. Drama is the bridge and communication is the goal.

  • Improv games spark original ideas
  • Stories shaped into structured presentations
  • Performances build confidence and audience connection

Parent Showcase:
Parents are invited to join for the final 30 minutes. Children deliver a short presentation developed from their improv work. Parents see strong voices, clear ideas, and confidence in front of an audience.
Outcome:
Your child leaves with practical presentation skills and the confidence to communicate clearly in school and beyond.
