Learn about the history of traditional shibori, a Japanese tie-dye technique that creates myriad patterns through folding, twisting, and stitching to manipulate the fabric. Hong Kong fibre artist Debbie Leung will then walk you through all the steps of the dyeing process using natural indigo, an organic dye ingredient derived from plants.?

You can also join the special “Setting Up an Organic Indigo Vat” session, in which the artist will explain the fermentation process of indigo and share tips on how you can replicate this at home!?

Availability: 12 pax per sessions (2 sessions per day)
Price: Shibori Bandana Workshop $600 for one person. (Only for participants aged 12 or above)*
Add-on: Setting Up an Organic Indigo Vat $200 for one person at 10:00am-12:00pm on Oct 9th & 10th

Inclusive:

TWO 100% cotton fabric (size: 50cm x 50cm)

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made after reservation or no show will not receive any refund or transfer. A full refund (less the administration fee) will only be made if the event is cancelled by The Mills Fabrica or does not take place due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather. The Mills Fabrica reserves the right to reschedule the event due to uncontrollable factors, e.g. Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance, adverse weather. Alternatively, a full refund (less the administration fee) can be made. In case of any disputes, the decision of The Mills Fabrica shall be final.

Disclaimer:
