Foundation Acting & Theatre Workshop
Designed for beginners with no experience or exposure in acting.
- Learn to study a character, create a back story & character arc.
- Learn to assess the physical and mental attributes of the character.
- Creating props out of waste material.
- Speech, voice modulation and accent enhancement training.
- Movement and Breathing techniques.
- Public speaking confidence build up.
Learn techniques of emotional memory & imagination combined with Method Acting
Learn to get in and out of the character
Maximum 8 students per batch considering the pandemic scenario.
INITIAL (RQF Entry Level) LEARNING OUTCOMES The learner will:
- Employ appropriate vocal and physical resources to communicate with an audience
- Respond appropriately to the content and meaning of the material being presented
- Adopt and sustain a role using body and space (where appropriate)
FOUNDATION ( RQF Level 1) LEARNING OUTCOMES The learner will:
- Employ appropriate physical and vocal resources to engage an audience through performance
- Respond to the quality, form and content of the material being presented
- Adopt and sustain a role using space creatively and effectively
