Social Squirrels Summer Group
This summer group is targeted towards children 4 - 6 years, who have reduced social interaction skills and will focus on developing the following areas:
- Sharing
- Playing a turn-taking game with peers without a lot of support from adults
- Engaging in conversation about topics of interest
Targets would include
- Supporting independent and unprompted peer greeting
- Enhancing engagement in whole group activities
- improving use of eye contact with peers
- Initiating and responding to peer conversation across structured and less structured language play
Benefits of enrolling a child in this program include:
- More awareness of social norms and social expectations regarding interaction with their peers
- Better equipped with the social skills to confidently communicate and interact with their peers at an age appropriate level.
Facilitated by our qualified Speech & Language Therapist, Beryl C. Jones, starting 30th July 2018 held 2x per week on Monday and Wednesday (excluding Eid Holidays).

Fee:
- AED 180 per session (2pm - 3pm)
- AED 300 per session (1:30pm - 2:30pm) includes additional 30 mins before & after session +for free play and generic group activities.
