Dubai Performing Arts Academy is the vision of Lisa and Johnny, husband and wife team, who between them, have over 25 years experience within the Performing Arts Industry.

Lisa is a member of the successful British pop group Steps who have achieved world wide sales of over 20 Million records and performed to audiences of over one million earning them the prestigious Brit Award. Lisa is an accomplished performer with many years of experience in the TV, Radio and Music World. Johnny has worked in every genre of the industry from dancing for the likes of stars such as Robbie Williams and Diana Ross, being a member of the British pop group Hear'Say, to principal roles in London's West End, including being in the original cast of Footloose. Johnny is also an accomplished Choreographer and Creative Director.

Having both trained at prestigious Performing Arts Academies in London, Lisa at The Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts and Johnny at Performers College, they have the experience and knowledge required to establish a successful Performing Arts Academy. Johnny and Lisa’s dream is to give aspiring young performers here in the Emirates, the opportunity to experience and enjoy an all-round training and foundation in Performing Arts.

1 hour Performing Arts classes

3 hour Musical Theatre workshops

Saturday at DBS JP - 10-1pm - ages 6-18 years.
