Considered one of the best known Catalan guitarists on the international scene, with appearances in Vienna, Bayreuth, Barcelona, Kiev, Amman and elsewhere. He has recorded the complete guitar compositions of Heitor Villa-Lobos. Jaume Torrent is known for his prolific recordings as well as his own compositions.
