For the first time, the French and Lebanese consulates in Dubai are uniting in a joint initiative to support a cultural event, underscoring their shared commitment to artistic and cultural exchange: “Mon Hymne à Piaf” is a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Edith Piaf, led by acclaimed French-Lebanese singer Manel Mallat.

This captivating concert will be held on May 8 and 9 at Zabeel Theatre and showcases Mallat’s French cultural heritage and her deep admiration for Piaf’s iconic music.

The show features a live orchestra of 20 musicians, conducted by renowned film composer Danny Bou-Maroun, who has reimagined Piaf’s classics with a cinematic touch.

Under the direction of Kristian Abouanni, the concert’s cinematic projections, immersive lighting design, and archival footage transport the audience into Piaf’s world, forging a poignant connection between past and present in a celebration of her enduring legacy.

Produced by “Cats Production” and “Shapes & Colors”, “Mon Hymne à Piaf” is a testament to the lasting power of Piaf’s music, bridging generations and touching the hearts of all who attend.

Pour la première fois, les consulats français et libanais à Dubaï s’unissent dans une initiative conjointe pour soutenir un événement culturel, soulignant ainsi leur engagement commun en faveur de l’échange artistique et culturel: “Mon Hymne à Piaf” est un hommage émouvant à la légendaire Édith Piaf, porté par la talentueuse chanteuse franco-libanaise Manel Mallat. Ce concert captivant aura lieu les 8 et 9 Mai au Théatre de Zabeel et met en lumière l’héritage culturel français de l’artiste ainsi que son admiration profonde pour l’œuvre intemporelle de Piaf.

Le spectacle réunit un orchestre live de 20 musiciens, dirigé par le compositeur de musique de film Danny Bou-Maroun, qui revisitera les classiques de Piaf avec une touche cinématographique.
