Little Haven Nursery, founded 2014 and located in the heart of Abu Dhabi has started as a small private nursery and quickly grown into one of Abu Dhabi’s finest child care centers. Combining passion for education with outstanding state of the art facilities and providing our families with the highest standard of child care.
We have a dedicated team of professionals, educators and health specialists to support all children in their unique individuality, nurture their personality and support their mental and physical growth.
Babies
We value the gift you give us by entrusting your baby to our care and cherish sharing this time of awakening with you. Our baby program focuses on care, comfort and trust, alongside explorations of wonder, based on the senses. Babies are part of our family group, interacting with older children to provide warm and stimulating engagement.
Our practitioners individually interact with the babies, observing carefully what they like and don’t like and what is of interest to them, respecting their schedules and activities on their individual needs.
Toddlers
As your baby becomes mobile and increasingly responds to the world, so they enter the toddler stage. Toddlers are energetic and passionate with exploding vocabularies. They are moving from dependence to independence and learning to manage their interactions with others successfully.
Our curriculum honors this curiosity and provides extensive opportunities to follow areas of interest, as well as structured support and practice, helping them to understand the world around them.
Nursery
As children reach nursery stage, they are progressing leaps and bounds in their physical and thinking ability. During their precious early learning years, children are developing magnificent theories about themselves, others and the world around them. Their understandings and ideas are incredibly important to them; their world view and their openness has much to teach us. We provide them with the time, the resources and the stimulus to investigate; the support to learn and the gentleness to challenge their assumptions.
Children bring the topics and ideas, the events come from their daily environment and they are supported by adults who introduce scientific, literary and mathematical ideas.
Preschool
For us pre-school means the elders of our setting. They are maturing and becoming increasingly independent, focused and wise. Their skills in literacy and numeracy are beginning to blossom and they demonstrate a multitude of ways to solve problems, make plans and reach a target. Our curriculum program focuses strongly on increasing their independence and problem solving abilities as well as equipping your child with the necessary social and personal skills to help them cope well with change, challenge, conflict and choice.
We embrace the independence, focus and wisdom of our preschooler with the core curriculum being taught in English; native language will always be cherished to ensure that all children feel included, safe, accepted and understood. All children from Nursery class onwards will be introduced to the Arabic language through engaging and fun-filled activities.
We offer special support for those with English as a new language.
