The Canadian Business Council of Abu Dhabi is a membership-based organization that has been dedicated to cultivating successful business relationships between Canada and the United Arab Emirates since 2005, particularly focusing on the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Council is made up of a diverse group of businesspeople representing both Canadian and United Arab Emirates companies and organizations. The group includes such diverse business professionals as proprietors, presidents, chief executive officers, directors, general managers, partners, department heads and entrepreneurs. The common thread among members is a genuine interest in building better business relationships.
There are many ways in which The Canadian Business Council of Abu Dhabi works to achieve successful connections between Canadian businesses and their executives and the U.A.E. Some specific methods include the organization of networking events, expediting the exchange of important information regarding current and expected business opportunity, and facilitation of trade and corporate investment among parties.
The organization has a close working relationship with the local and Canadian governments and organizations such as the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Canadian Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce.
